after the trigger pull

lies a blissful eternity

until the shot connects

I support women's wrongs and the wrongs I support the most are Amélie Lacroix's. I liked her, but it wasn't until I spontaneously started writing about her that I realised how much and the newfound fascination I had with her. She doesn't miss, but she misses. She drowns in the grief of the life she took and how it made her feel - that the last act of love she experienced was death.

A loss of will, stripped emotions, the possibility of relearning what it is to be human... there is so much potential in her, and what I liked about characters such as Seven of Nine culminated in Widowmaker. It was no wonder really that she was the one. Sometimes you bond and find comfort in that. Along with Ashe, Amélie is the other half I spin around daily in my head. I feel like I owe it to her to someday soon dedicate a site to her too. [Widowmaker / Overwatch]

that day, i felt alive.
